Boycott

Another thing you can do to help Autistic people is to Boycott Autism Speaks. This means you stop donating to them and encourage others to stop too in protest. There are ways to do this, for example donate to other charities and causes (linked above) or you could not "Light it up blue" in April, instead you should choose #REDInstead, and wear Red on the 2nd of April and request that others do it too. If you are in an office or school, you can ask if people can pay £1 or $1 or the equivalent in your currency to wear red, and donate the money raised to a different charity.
